Dear colleagues,

I am so happy to hereby invite you to the 9th year of the international academic conference "Bratislava Legal Forum 2023", which is organized by Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Law. The conference will be held in a hybrid form - on the premises of the Faculty of Law, Comenius University in Bratislava and at the same time in an audio-visual online form via the Microsoft TEAMS application on 11 and 12 September 2023 (Monday and Tuesday) under the auspices of the Alumni Club of Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Law.

The primary topic of the conference is "A Man at the Center of the Rule of Law". The main aim of the conference is to create a space and platform for discussion between legal professionals on the one hand and academics on the other. The conference is, in accordance with the aforementioned aim, divided into a plenary session and parallel discussions conducted in topic-based sections. The first day of the conference will start with parallel proceedings in individual sections, which will be followed by a plenary session in the afternoon. Proceedings in individual sections will continue the following day. The event also includes a reception, which will take place on 11 September 2023.

At the same time, I would like to draw your attention to the Environmental and Climate Law section, which we organize together with the Slovak Inspectorate of the Environment, the topic of which is: "Balancing public and private interests in environmental protection". 
I would like to point out that the preferred language of contributions and discussion in this section is English.
