The Association of Agrarian and Environmental Lawyers has successfully been awarded the international educational project, “Waste Wise: Enhancing Governance for Sustainable Waste Management” (Project No. 2024-2-SK01-KA210-VET-000260945).
As part of this initiative, we are partnering with Cooperazione Paesi Emergenti (COPE)from Italy https://www.cope.it/en/
The primary objective of the Waste Wise project is to support the professional development of public office employees involved in waste management and administration. This initiative aims to contribute to sustainable growth, the creation of quality jobs, and the promotion of European identity, legislation, and active citizenship. The project will strategically enhance waste management practices in municipalities and organizations dealing with waste, empower educators to foster environmental awareness, and improve access to high-quality learning opportunities in Slovakia and Italy within the waste management sector.
The project is set to commence on 1st February 2025 and will conclude on 31st January 2027.
