Summer school 2016 Nitra
Programme of the Summer school
Basic information
Summer school 2016 will be organized by the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. Its objective is to: 1. explain main objectives and initiations of the EU land management; 2. encourage multifuncionality of the land-use in the connection with the decision proceedings related to land management; 3. improve professional skills in proceeding of land management; 4. explain and discuss barriers and challenges of current land management policy. Teaching activity will be based on latest theoretical knowledge and completed with the practical approach. In the short term students will have possibility to work in international teams on practical assignments which will build their professional contacts. Target group will learn how to consider land-use management in wider perspective and obtained skills and knowledge will enhance their employability in the EU market. From the long term, gained knowledge and skills could create their professional opinion and could have an influence on improving the governance of land management through their professional activities. Target group: PhD. students, young graduates, young researchers to 35 years who are not automatically connected to the EU integration studies in their study programmes from different network countries.
